Crochet Bee Free Pattern

These adorable little bees work up so far and make great stress balls, little toys, additions to other crafts, keychains, decor and so much more

Bees will be approximately 3 inches long

Materials:
2 small safety eyes
Yellow, black and white acrylic yarn (or colors desired) 
Needle
Scissors
Polyfil or other stuffing
4mm hook

Pattern:
Yellow
Round 1: Chain 2 or MR, 8 HDC slip stitch
Round 2: chain 1, 2 HDC in each around
Round 3: chain 1, (HDC, 2HDC) around
Black
Rounds 4-5: chain 1, HDC around
Attach eyes between rounds 2-3 approximately 5-6 stitches apart
Yellow
Rounds 6-7: chain 1, HDC around
Black 
Rounds 8-9 chain 1, HDC around
Yellow
Round 10: chain 1, HDC around
Round 11: chain 1, (HDC, HDC2TOG) around
Begin to stuff
Round 12: chain 1, HDC2TOG around
Stuff again if needed
Round 13: chain 1, sc in every other, fasten off

Weave in ends. Use tail end of first black stripe to sew in a smile below the eyes

Wings:
White
Round 1: Chain 10, 2HDC in first, HDC to end, 4 HDC in last (work opposite side of chain) HDC to end, 2 HDC in last. Slip stitch
Round 2: chain 1, 2 DC in first 2 stitches, SC in next 8 stitches, 2 DC in each of the next 3 stitches, SC in next 8, 2 DC in last stitch. Slip stitch

Weave in ends and attach in the back of the bee. Sew the wings directly between eyes from the 4th round to the 8th round on the body of the bee. Weave in final ends
