My Journey
I started crocheting when I was just nine years old. My grandma and one of her good friends were my top teachers as a child. As a child I was drawn to the ability to make things by hand and that interest has stayed with me as I've aged.
When I was about 11 or 12 years old I crocheted my first beanie, pictured below.
That hat was far from perfect, but it added more fuel to the fire that was my desire to create. Over the years I watched my talents grow and it continued to amaze me and inspire me to push my craft further.
Today I crochet a variety of things including
-beanies
-scarves
-pillows and blankets
-tops
-dresses
-swimsuits
-baby clothes
-stuffed animals/ amigirumi
I'm always looking to try new projects to expand my craft even further. I hope that this site will eventually be able to hold the variety of my work and include patterns, tips, and inspiration from crocheters at every level.
