Summer Beach Cover Up Skirt (any size)

I made this skirt about 4-5 years ago and have been wanting to remake it so I decided to rework the pattern  this was made with 4ply acrylic yarn  I don’t know what size hook I used, but any hook could work for this it will just change the size of the holes

This skirt works up so fast and I love wearing it. This can be made in any size, from infant to XXL.

To start chain large enough that it can comfortably fit around your waist. Slip stitch into the first, being careful not to twist the chain.

The first row is SC only. The second is HDC only. I repeated this about 4-5 times for a medium adult sized skirt (do less rows for a smaller skirt or more for a larger one)

When the waistband was the desired length I chained 3 skip 1 triple crochet in the next, chain 1 skip one triple crochet. Continue the skip chain triple to the end. I continued this row on repeat until the skirt was the desired length.

Finish off with a long double strand chain that is added into the waistband for a tie. Clean up the strings are you’re done.
