Crochet Apple Free Pattern

We've all had that one amazing teacher throughout our lives. That one who shaped our way of thinking, the one who truly improved who we were as an individual while under their guidance. Some of us are currently with those teachers, and some of us have children being uplifted by them.

One small way that's become iconic for showing teacher how much we appreciate them is to bring them an apple. While that is a wonderful gesture to someone, I feel it can be insufficient.

This person is shaping the very future and ideology of the person they're teaching, and they're repayed with a healthy snack that will be gone before they leave work that day.

Because of this I knew I had to give my incredibly massage teacher; a man who taught me about love, life, and massage in a beautiful and seamless way, would need something more long lasting and meaningful than a piece of fruit. And thus, my apple was born.

I found this incredible pattern on Pinterest available here

If you cannot crochet and would like to order one from my Etsy shop they are available here

For mine I used red heart 4 ply yarn and a 4mm hook. It is the size of one of those small crab apples.

For a larger apple increase hook size, yarn thickness, or do HDC or DC instead of the SC suggested in the pattern. Any combination of these can be used an the more you use the larger if will be.

To make a smaller apple, like for a key chain or jewelry; reduce hok size, yarn weight (down to thread, if needed) and reduce nubr of increases/total number of rows. Any combination of these can be used and the more that are used at once the smaller the apple will be.
